Behind the Method

Natalie Freeman, Founder and Coach

I began my own fitness journey completely overwhelmed by the industry. Confused by conflicting philosophies, there was no concept of a "rolling" program, it was always 12-week challenges with body-focused end goals that left me lost and burnt out when they ended.

Everything changed when I stopped chasing a perfect program or a body goal and shifted my focus to the actual method of training. I prioritized body mechanics, performance, and meaningful movement. This shift changed everything. I found a sustainable rhythm because I was revealing what my body was capable of and living a stronger life, in and out of the gym. I stopped forcing an external transformation, yet exceeded my former goals simply by showing up for the programming. Imperfectly, but consistently.

That is exactly why I built Strength Method in 2020. While the fitness industry remains obsessed with external results and quick fixes, this program is created entirely around a method-driven, inside out approach. This gives you the power to simply show up for the method itself, no guesswork, no fluff… and let progress be a by-product.

For nearly 10 years of coaching, I have used these philosophies to guide 1,000+ individuals away from the burnout cycle. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Science and certifications in Pain-Free Performance, Nutrition, and Pre-/Postnatal specialties, I approach human movement with a deep respect for biomechanics and how the body adapts. Strict timelines don’t work, but when you focus on how well your body moves, training becomes a lifelong practice that gives back to you.

The meaning behind training isn't in a temporary finish line, it is entirely in the method.

Today, I don’t just write the programming. I do every single workout right alongside our community. I am entirely invested in this practice with you, proving week after week that the magic isn’t found in a temporary result, but in staying the course for life.
